Kolney Cassel: One of the Region’s Best

Kolney Cassel (6-3 205 Jr QB) of Eisenhower is considered one of the top QB’s in the entire region and will be one of the premier prospects on the camp circuit going into the spring and summer. The Conference Player of the Year accounted for 2, 697 yards and threw 27 Tds with only 6 picks during the 2011 season.

Eisenhower had a very good year going (8-2) and losing to 2010 state champion Ferris 38-31 in a tough opening round game. Cassel is super smooth and has a QB body . His film shows why he is considered maybe the #2 QB in the entire region behind Max Browne. Cassel was recently invited to the Army All American Combine in San Antonio where he will get a chance to show what he is capable of against the nations best.

” I definitely want to play D1 football and I plan on working as hard as I can to make that happen”. Cassel is a multi-sport kid that dropped 20 points on the basketball court the night we spoke. Kolney gives a lot of credit to his receivers and O line, ” Denzel (Jones) is the real deal and Ridge Harmon will be huge for us next year” Cassel says.

Jones (5-10 165 Sr) went off in 2011 accounting for 1167 receiving yards and 15 Tds in only 10 games. He was listed among the kids in our “Top athletes no offers” section of NEI.

You are not going to find a kid much more naturally fluid in his throwing motion and this off season will be huge for Kolney. We plan on seeing him on the NEI/ Barton tour and look forward to helping him achieve all his goals while playing at the highest level possible.
