Oregon’s Top Linebacker Evan Colorito Offered By Colorado

(#11 Evan Colorito 6-4 230 Jr LB) Beaverton

Oregon’s top ranked linebacker for the class of 2013, Evan Colorito (6-4 230 Jr. LB) of Beaverton, received his first major D1 offer from Colorado on Friday and looks to be on the verge of many more. Colorito has been one of the state leaders in sacks for the past two seasons receiving all league honors in 10′ and 11′ .

He recorded 16.5 sacks over the last two years and has shown flashes of dominance. When referencing the offer Colorito says, ” I feel really good about it, its my first big time D1 scholarship and Im excited”.

Evan is the son of former USC All American Dr. Tony Colorito who also went to a Super Bowl with Denver during his NFL career. Colorito has an outstanding frame and legit quicks coming off the end. As good as he is right now, his potential is through the roof.

You can expect Oregon St to take a serious look at getting Colorito an offer some time soon, and Oregon seems to be very interested as well. USC has invited him to their team camp and many more Pac 12 schools and beyond could be pulling the trigger.

Evan is an outstanding kid first and foremost and he will be someone that we look forward to working with on the Camp and Combine Tour over the spring and summer.
