Ralph Kinne – (5-10 219 Sr. RB Shelton)

The Shelton Highclimbers started the 2012 campaign with a 42-21 win over Tumwater on the strength of Kinne’s 328 yards on 31 carries and 3 TDs. His TDs cam on runs of 80, 61 and 35 yards.

Myles Jack – (6-2 218 Sr. RB/LB Bellevue)

Jack was unbelievable on Thursday night rushing for 118 and a TD on only 5 carries in Bellevue’s 31-24 OT win over Euless-Trinity, TX. He was without a doubt, the best player on the field at Memorial Stadium in Seattle.

Kevin Haynes – (6-0 225 Sr. RB Battle Ground)

Haynes rushed for 316 yards on 15 carries and 4 rushing TDs in the Tigers 41-27 win over R.A. Long. He also added 63 yards and a TD on two receptions. Scored on runs of 75, 53, 41 and 5 yards.

Mario Gobatto – (5-9 160 Sr. RB Blaine)

Super Mario scored 5 times on only 15 carries while accumulating 217 yards in the Borderites 50-16 victory over a team from New Westminster, BC. Gobatto outgained the opposing offense by himself.

Billy Green – (6-2 200 Sr. QB King’s)

The BYU commit was 20-29 for 270 yards and 5 TDs in 1A King’s 42-39 win over defending 2A state champ Lynden.

Kolney Cassel – (6-3 205 Sr. QB Eisenhower)

S.M.U. commit Cassel completed 25 of 40 passes for 289 yards and 3 TDs in Eisenhower’s 29-27 win over Wenatchee.

Ridge Harmon – (6-0 175 Jr. WR Eisenhower)

Harmon broke the Eisenhower school record with 14 receptions for 157 yards and 2 TDs in Eisenhower’s 29-27 win over Wenatchee.

Shane Nelson – (6-2 175 Jr. QB Tahoma)

In week one Nelson showed why Tahoma switched to a more wide open offense by going 29-41 for 335 yards and 3 TDs as the Bear routed Kent-Meridian 55-21.

Clayton Frank – (6-0 200 Sr. QB Columbia River)

In the Chieftains’ 40-34 win over Heritage, Frank rushed for 130 yards and 3 TDs and also passed for 277 yards and 2 more TDs.

Loren Standiford – (5-11 175 Jr. QB Heritage)

In a losing effort, Standiford completed 22 of 35 passes for 305 yards and 4 TDs.

Devin Brown – (5-9 165 Jr. RB Foster)

Brown had 153 yards on 26 carries and 2 TDs, but it wasn’t enough as the Bulldogs lost 42-15 to Bremerton.

Brian Higgins – (6-0 180 Sr. QB Mercer Island)

With the tough task of replacing Jeff Lindquist(now at UW), Brian Higgins shined in the first game of 2012 going 25 of 36 for 261 yards and 3 TDs in the Islanders 35-20 win over the Redmond Mustangs.

Jalen DeVine – (5-10 170 Sr. RB Hanford)

DeVine rushed 26 times gaining 209 yards and scoring 1 TD in Hanford’s big 23-7 win over heavily favored Chiawana.

Reilly Hennessey – (6-3 185 Jr. QB Camas)

Hennessey had a HUGE day as the Papermakes routed Oregon City, OR. 63-20. Reilly finished 22 of 32 for 415 yards and 4 TDs.

J’Maka Love – (5-11 170 Jr. QB Lincoln)

Being moved from WR to QB this week could not have been easy, but Love made the most of his opportunity. He finished with 154 yards rushing and a TD while completing 15 of 25 passes for 181 yards and 3 TDs in Lincoln’s 34-27 come from behind victory over the Bonney Lake Panthers.

Austin Joyner – (5-10 180 So. RB Marysville Pilchuck)

Joyner finished with 177 yards on only 10 carries and scored 1 TD in the Tomahawks 42-14 win over Arlington.

Chris Becerra – (6-0 215 Sr. QB Glacier Peak)

In only his second career start, Becerra completed 22 of 33 passes for 303 yards and 4 TDs in the Grizzlies 42-31 win over defending Wesco 4A champ, Lake Stevens.
