One of the state’s top overall athletes, Andre Reasno (5-10 170) of David Douglas, is back in 2013 and looks to be even better.

The Scots lose a host of starters from a season ago, but Reasno and lineman Bryson Dizon (6-3 275 Sr. OL/DL) will be key to the DD squad.

David Douglas is led by one of Oregon’s most respected coaches in Dan Wood as Reasno says, “He’s real business-like and the guys love him…Coach will make sure we battle for four quarters and always give it our all.”

Andre plays the RB position but projects as a slot receiver at the next level, as he is extremely tough to tackle in the open field. He earned 2nd Team All-League honors a year ago, while scoring 15 TD’s in the process. Andre added, “We bring back 6 or 7 guys with starting varsity experience that will have to step up, and I really like our lineman and their work ethic.”

Henry Vu (6-0 190 Sr. QB) will handle the quarterback duties, and receivers Hunter Davis (6-1 175 Jr. WR) and Nick Showalter (5-10 150 Sr. Slot) should be his primary targets when the ball isn’t in Reasno’s hands.

Dizon is one of the more underrated lineman in the state, and will jump up our rankings board when updated. He projects as a guard at the next level and finishes blocks as well as anybody in the state.

Reasno is one of the more exciting athletes in Oregon, as he is a threat to take it to the house anytime the ball is in his hands. The Mt Hood Conference has struggled to advance its teams deep in the playoffs for a number of years, but they always have legit talent.

Head coach Wood will make sure the Scots are ready to go in 2013, and we will bring you updates as they happen.
