NorthwestEliteIndex (NEI) has been releasing its updated (Junior Top 140) and (Sophomore Top 65) for the states of Oregon and Washington. The response has been nothing short of incredible, and we are looking forward to seeing all of the top athletes on the NEI/Barton Tour this Spring and Summer.
With that said we have moved on to Idaho and Montana and have gone through and made extensive lists for those individual states. We will be visiting Boise on the tour and realize that hidden talent exists everywhere, as we expect to see some of the Northwest’s top recruits come out of the area.
The initial difference we will have within the state’s will have to do with the rankings. Both Oregon and Washington are numbered based on how the kid projects at the next level. We will not do that just yet for Montana and Idaho. Once we are able to watch some film, and see the athletes in person during the camp season we can organize the lists accordingly. This will give everyone the same opportunity to compete against top competition from around the region.
The Barton Football Academy has a variety of D1 athletes, as well as current and former NFL talents coaching at the camps and combines. Combine this with maybe the top QB Coach in the country (Taylor Barton) and you have what amounts to the top Football Academy in the Pacific Northwest.
We will be contacting all of the athletes from Idaho and Montana and sending out select invites to our camps and combines to all of the individuals on this list. Please let us know of players that we missed as obviously nothing is perfect. We plan on seeing a lot of people added to these lists, and will happily review any other film or statistical achievements from all those who feel they were overlooked.
