O’Dea’s Jack Oman & Pierre Le Dorze- Two of The NW’s Top Underclassmen

Jack Oman
#50 LB Junior

Two of the top underclassmen in the State of Washington will be back and even better in 2012 after helping lead ODea HS of Seattle to a class 3A State Title appearance this past season.

Jack Oman (6-0 205 Jr. LB) and Pierre Le Dorze (6-2 195 So. QB) were both training with us this past weekend and we got to see both kids up close and personal. Oman’s a brawler with little to no regard for his body. He was a first team all league selection at Linebacker, and recorded a league high 153 tackles on the season finishing just 13 shy of the NFL’S Taylor Mays’ school record. He’s not the biggest kid in the world, but tenacity wise he’s always up in the mix.

Oman says “ Its nice to get out here and workout with some of the top athletes in the Northwest, I think these camps will help us to prepare for top competition considering most of us are of equal skill level”.Oman is ranked as one of the top 50 players in Washington for 2013 class and he plans on helping his team get back to the title game next season.

” We lost a lot of talent in last years team, and even though its a new year we still have the same goal”. He continued, “We expect to make it back to the state championship with all of the young talent that we have but it all depends on how much time we are willing to put in, we definitely have the talent to make it back to the title game and win it”.

Pierre Le Dorze
#8 QB Sophomore

Pierre Le Dorze is ranked the #15 overall recruit for the class of 2014 and is considered one of the top quarterbacks in the region for his age group. Its even more important that he get out and train with the top kids as his team doesn’t throw the ball much. Head Coach Monty Kohler consistently leads a rushing attack that has dominated opponents, but they lose a lot up front. They will have the services of one of the fastest kids in the region in Tatum Taylor but it will help to have a leader like Le Dorze behind center.

Le Dorze is a multi sport athlete that holds a 3.98 GPA, and was a varsity starter as a freshman in baseball as well. He won the super sophomore award in football and has legit arm strength that could help him at the next level. ” I want to be a guy that can lead this team to a title, and I think last years experience will really help moving forward”.

You can expect to see Pierre training with some of other top quarterbacks over the coming year as Taylor Barton and the Football Academy always have the elite quarterbacks from Washington working out (Max Browne- Skyline, Kolney Cassell- Eisenhower, Isaac Dotson- Newport, Billy Green- Kings ).
