The preseason All Region Team is something that has been designed so we could take a look at our top Northwest athletes and evaluate where they project at the next level.
This team is extremely tough to make. If you are on it there is a good chance that you are the best player at your high school or in your conference. All State is tough enough to make by itself, much less an all Region Team. Any athlete with an offer will most likely be towards to the top of this list, because schools are reaching out to them. Ultimately that is what counts.
I repeat, these rankings are not based on All league or All State accolades although that helps. It is whoever projects highest at the next level. (Example- If you are a (5-10) lineman that earns first team all league honors and Defensive Player of the Year for your conference, your a still a 5-10 lineman and don’t project high at the next level…It is what is and this how the rankings are broken up.
Congratulations to All of the athletes making the First Annual NEI/Barton Football Academy 2012 All Region Team. All of the support and feedback that we have been given over the last few months has been overwhelming and is greatly appreciated. NEI TV, Our Elite (Invite Only) Camp session videos, and all of the rankings are used by colleges from coast to coast as we have gotten to know the athletes up close and personal.
