A program that has had one of the best run’s of any team in state history through the 80’s and 90’s were the Ashland Grizzlies. The Southern Oregon college town has an abundance of football tradition and are coming back strong after a deep run in the 5A Playoffs last season. Head Coach Charlie Hall has done an outstanding job getting a certain type of belief back into the program and the future looks bright.

The Grizzlies went (8-3) in 2011 losing a hard fought State Semi Final game to 5a power Sherwood 14-3. They continued to get better all season long lead by sophomore QB Danial White and Sophomore Linebacker Mason Montgomery. Part of the excitement is due to the youth factor, and the kids that are coming back over the next couple of seasons. Ashland looks to have a strong perimeter, but will have to do some work on the line. They will battle Marist and most likely Churchill for the Midwestern League Title this up coming season. Have a look at some of Ashland’s top kids.. We know that there are people that we have missed or are coming up through the program so we hope to see you April 1st at Spiegelberg Stadium.
