At NEI & Barton Football we feel extremely fortunate to be able to work with some of the best minds in the business. Both Scout and Dawgman.Com have been nothing short of phenomenal in everything that they do. Recently the northwest got another big boost as one of the region’s top writers Mason Kelley of the Seattle Times was hired by ESPN.

Kelley has spent the last three years as the high school sports coordinator at the Times and has written about, high school, college, and professional sports since 2004. He has worked in the states of Florida, Washington, and Idaho and will now be focusing his time specifically on northwest athletes for the world wide leader in Sports.

Mason is very good at what he does, and has a genuine appreciation for this area and the outstanding athletes that it continues to produce. The humble Kelley isn’t big on talking about himself and says, " I was a below average QB/Safety and Point guard at Steilacoom High School, and this a very exciting opportunity at ESPN".

Kelley has been instrumental in setting up ESPN’s new Husky Nation site, which should only help bolster the already booming Pacific Northwest football market. We wish to congratulate Mason and ESPN on the new venture, and look forward to seeing NW Football continue to grow at an amazing rate.
