Barton Football And Mountain View High School Join Forces For 7-on-7

Border Wars

Borders Wars 7-on-7, presented by Mountain View (WA) High School and Barton Football Academy, is the premier Summer passing tournament in the Pacific Northwest. Teams from Oregon and Washington will compete at McKenzie Stadium in Vancouver, WA on Sunday, July 19th for Northwest bragging rights.

In addition to the tournament, each team is invited to participate in a Skills Camp and Coaches’ Clinic on Saturday afternoon.

The winners of the Barton Football Spring passing tournaments, The Battle in Seattle and the Rose City Rumble, will receive automatic paid entry into Border Wars.

“The two Spring tournaments are going to feature top talent from around the Northwest and it’s natural that the winners of each get an opportunity to move on and compete again,” said BFA QB coach Alex Brink. “More importantly, Border Wars is going to bring together teams from Oregon and Washington to compete in a venue that wouldn’t be possible any other time.”

The growth of 7-on-7 in the Pacific Northwest is allowing for athletes to continue to improve by facing more competition and receive greater exposure. Multiple media outlets will be on hand at Border Wars to showcase all the teams in attendance.

The Skills Camp and Coaches’ Clinic the day before are a way for both players and coaches to learn and network together. For more information or to sign up for any of the three 7-on-7 tournaments, visit www.BFA7on7.com .
