Great news from Whidbey Island where Princeton Lollar of Oak Harbor (Wash.) High School has been offered by Northern Arizona University.
This is the first offer for the 2017 class back, and could be the start of big things.
“I wasn’t expecting it,” Lollar told NEI. “I feel so blessed you know I’ve been waiting for this moment to get my first offer from any school. I’ve been waiting for this moment to get my first offer from any school.
“I’ve worked so hard and prayed just as hard for the lord to open doors to different schools around the country. So all glory to god on this one and I’m going to keep my head straight and just grind, and keep on pressing to get some more offers.”
The 6-foot-1, 238 pounder finished last season just over 1,000 yards rushing and with 15 TD’s. He was voted second team All-Wesco 3A North for his efforts, and this offer has only motivated him.
“Oh man, words cant even explain,” Lollar said. “I’m going to work hard and just get right. This is only the beginning and I want to show everyone how serious I take this game, and that I’m going to give it all I got.”
Lollar is currently hearing from both Washington and Washington State. Right now Lollar is participating in track, where he competes in the 4×100 relay and throws the Shot Put, but is planning on attending a few college camps in the near future.
It is still early as Lollar still has two seasons left before he has to make a decision. We will keep you updated on Lollar as news breaks.
