Mead (Spokane, Wa.) StarTE/DE Danny Mattingly informed Northwest Elite Index that he received an offer from the Oklahoma Sooners today.
Mattingly already had offers from Oregon State, Arizona State, Boise State, Nebraska, UCLA, Washington, Washington State, Utah and Eastern Washington and is getting heavy interest from schools like Arizona and Notre Dame among others.
The talented two-way star for the Panthers received First Team All-GSL honors and was named Co-Defensive MVP after posting 73 tackles, five interceptions, two sacks, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries while also blocking two punts. On offense he hauled in 30 receptions for 350 yards and eight touchdowns.
