The state of Washington’s No. 1 ranked QB for the class of 2015, Spokane (Wash.) Shadle Park’s Brett Rypien, picked up his fourth FBS offer this week, when the Boise State Broncos offered the junior-to-be a scholarship.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Rypien had spent last weekend in Boise at BSU’s camp, where the staff was able to get a first-hand look at the pro-style QB.

In 2012 Rypien helped lead Shadle Park to the state playoffs while completing 63% of his passes for 3,574 yards, throwing 29 TDs against just 10 INTs.

“It means a lot to get a Boise State offer because they have been a Top 25 program for as long as I can remember,” Rypien told NEI. To know that a team of that caliber is interested in me is truly humbling.”

Attending the camp at BSU also allowed Rypien to get an up-close look at the Bronco program and staff.

“My experience there last weekend was great, the new football offices will be amazing and every single coach I met seemed very genuine,” Rypien said. “I think Boise State is a great school and from everything I have seen and heard, Coach Petersen is a great person and coach. The atmosphere down there is all about Bronco football, which is awesome.”

The Broncos join Washington State, Idaho and Colorado State as the programs who have offered Rypien.
