6A TOP 10 SCORES

#1 (6-0) Sheldon @ (2-4) Roseburg – The Irish have blasted everybody and had there way with Crater last week 48-0. Connor Strahm is scoring 2-4 Tds a game and putting it away early. Sheldon 47 – Roseburg 7.

#2 (5-1) Jesuit @ #8 (3-3) Southridge – Southridge made a bunch of changes and will most likely start sophomore Peyton King at QB. It will be interesting how he handles a very talented and fast Jesuit front. Injuries have killed Jesuit with the likes of AJ Glass and Trent Werner going down, but RB’s Joey Alfieri (Jr) and Chase Morrison (So) have shown how capable they are. Jesuit 35 – Southridge 17.

(4-2) Clackamas @ #3 (6-0) Lake Oswego – Lake O is nasty up front and has the most talented defense in the state, and will continue to ride these aspects of there game. Justen Ruppe has done well at QB , and a host of other players have stepped up offensively. Lake Oswego 42 – Clackamas 16.

(3-3) Grant @ #4 (6-0) Aloha – The Warriors are legit and have as good of chance as anybody to win a title. Tyner will score 3-4 times in the first half and they will cruise in the second. Aloha 48 – Grant 21.

#5 (4-2) Central Catholic @ (3-3) David Douglas – Central has gotten in a good groove over the last couple weeks after the win over #1 Jesuit. The defense has gone on lock down mode, and the offense is just getting better as Aidan Wilder did very well last week in the Rams 37-0 beat down of a 5-0 Gresham team. Central Catholic 42 – David Douglas 17.

(0-6) Hillsboro @ #6 (5-1) Tigard – Starters will be out by half.. It would be a good week for Zach Floyd and Kaz Green to get some rest. Tigard 58 – Hillsboro 0.

#7 (5-1) Century @ (5-1) Glencoe – Glencoe is much improved with a couple good backs in Weddle, Spaulding, and England.. That said Century is a very good football team with the state’s top QB in Sam Riddle leading it. Century 45 – Glencoe 27.

(0-6) North Salem @ #9 (5-1) West Salem – Look for the Titans to blast N.Salem and put this away early; Soph QB Cade Smith has been playing well each week. West Salem 48 – North Salem 6.

#10 (3-3) Sunset @ (0-6) Lincoln – Lincoln has the state’s leading passer in John Williams, but Sunset is a good football team lead by Bruce Jones Jr. The Cardinals haven’t been able to stop anybody defensively so we will see what happens. Lincoln is not 0-6 bad. Sunset 35 – Lincoln 22.

5A TOP 10 SCORES

#1 (6-0) Sherwood @ #2 (5-1) Wilsonville – Definitely the game of the week as it could go either way. Sherwood has notoriously won this game, but Adam Guenther’s Wildcats are so very talented. Expect Johnny Ragin, Tanner Shipley, Nick Highberger, and Ryan Walsh to have big days. That Sherwood offense is a machine and it will be interesting. Wilsonville 31 – Sherwood 30.

(1-5) Woodburn @ #3 (6-0) Silverton – The Silverton D has been lights out, by far and away the best in the state at the 5a level. Chris Garcia is a Player of the Year Candidate and this will be over early. Silverton 47 – Woodburn 0.

(5-1) Churchill @ #4 (5-1) Marist – The Spartans are just getting better each week and will be not challenged within the conference. Kam Smith has been killin it with 23 Tds/3 Ints and Josh Harper has added a state leading 12 Td receptions. Marist 46 – Churchill 10.

#5 (5-1) West Albany @ (2-4) Dallas 7 – LaCoste will get 200+ really quick and be able to rest for most of the night. West Albany 57 – Dallas 7.

#6 (5-1) Springfield @ North Eugene – This will be Springfield’s best season in years as they should be the only team that will compete with Marist. As many know their only loss was a 2 pt defeat to #3 Silverton in Week 1. Springfield 44 – North Eugene 12.

#7 (3-3) Mountain View @ (2-4) Summit – The Cougars are still the defending 5A state champions, and have a bunch of talent on their roster. They have lost to two legit 6a teams and #2 Wilsonville so they have nothing to hang their head about. Mountain View 45 – Summit 7.

(2-4) Bend @ #8 (6-0) Redmond – The Panthers have played four 4A teams, moving down from 6A to 5A this season. They have 30 seniors on their roster and a bunch of all league kids. That said Jonah Koski is a super talented QB, and RB Duke Degaetano is one of the top backs at the 5A level. Redmond 28 – Bend 26.

(1-4) The Dalles @ #9 (3-2) Hermiston – Hermiston is legit and they just continue to get better as they blasted a decent Southridge (WA) team 42-13 last week. Hermiston 49 – The Dalles 6.

#10 (4-2) Crescent Valley @ (2-4) South Albany – CV has been playing better and they shouldn’t have any problem with South. They have a bunch of talented kids lead by top Junior athlete Tanner Sanders. Crescent Valley 44 – South Albany 14.
