6A Top Ten

Glencoe 7 @ #1 Tigard 55

The Tigers won’t be challenged by most in the Pacific, as Ruecker will most likely call off the dogs early against his former school. Look for Manu Rasmussen to rush for a couple hundred yards and multiple Tds.

#6 Lake Oswego 14 @ #2 Central Catholic 31

The Lakers will show up prepared, but the Rams are loaded and have to much talent to matchup with.

South Eugene 14 @ #3 Sheldon 54

Chris Miller has the Axemen (2-0) and feeling much better about themselves. This will still be a one sided affair as you can expect to see the Irish clean things up from a week ago

#4 Jesuit 27 @ 4A #6 Union (WA) WA 21

I think this game will be close. Union is good and fundamentally sound. Jesuit should get the W but I think Union presents some challenges, including a very hostile environment.

Centennial 7 @ #5 Southridge 49

The Skyhawks should make quick work, as they looked much better week 2. Expect Pruit and Martinez to go for over 300 yards again.

4A #1 Camas (WA) 54 @ #7 Canby 10

Canby is not 54-10 bad, Camas is just that good. They are one of the best high school football teams I have ever seen. Look for the Papermakers to do their thing.

Grant 26 @ Sunset #8 35

Willy Pflug and the Apollos have a lot of potential and looked really good week 2 against Barlow. 6-6 Josh Brown and 6-4 Jeff Bieber are difference makers.

Aloha 22 @ Clackamas #9 30

Aloha is a completely different team from last season, but they aren’t bad. Clack should handle the Warriors but I think it could be close.

Bend 14 @ West Salem #10 38

The 5A Lava Bears are down this season and the Titans should be able to cruise after two hard fought wins. The Titans 2015 class is shaping up nicely.

5A Top Ten

#1 Sherwood 48 @ Hermiston #8 21

The Bulldogs have played as well as anyone in the state thus far, but Sherwood is a different animal. You can expect the town to shut down as the Bowmen come to town. Hermiston gave them a scare last season losing 35-28 at Sherwood

Dallas 7 @ Silverton #2 28

Dallas is playing as well as any 5A team in the state, but the Silverton D is pretty ridiculous and Jr QB Cole Chandler is doing a phenomenal job running the offense.

#3 West Albany 28 @ Crescent Valley #5 26

CV could win this ball game, but they will have to play mistake free football and keep Jake Lacoste in check. This is a tall order considering he was held to 69 yards on 22 carries a week ago. He could go off.

#4 Marist 34 @ Ashland #10 29

Ashland could change its season with a win but Marist has dominated as of late. The Spartans looked much better last week in their route of 6A Grant, but they are still relatively young and inexperienced. The Grizzlies have a chance.

#6 Mountain View 30 @ Sprague 20

The Cougars squeaked out a win against 6A Century last week, but they could have played much better. Look for them to make some adjustments and get by 6A Sprague this week.

#7 Springfield 50 @ Willamette 17

The Millers dropped 64 on Corvallis and should roll over an improved Willamette team. Sophomore QB Trever Watson is the real deal.

Parkrose 13 @ Wilsonville #9 24

The Wildcats should handle Parkrose, but the Broncos are playing much better and could pose some challenges.
