Great news for one of Oregon’s top Junior’s, Jordan Happle (6-1 190 WR/FS 16′) of Jesuit, who received his 1st D1 offer from Big Sky power Montana St.

Happle was named the Metro League Defensive Player of the Year from his safety spot, and led all receivers in Oregon, catching 20 TD’s with over 1900 yards on the season. Jordan led the Crusaders in INT’s as a sophomore and followed that up nicely this year. You can expect him to be one of the most recruited kids in the region moving forward, as he projects at the D1 level on both sides of the football.

Referencing the offer he says, “I was just speechless and shocked as it’s something I’ve always dreamed of”. Adding, “I’m extremely grateful for my first offer and excited to keep working and getting better.”

Jesuit has a special 2016 class that will return a host of all league and all state type kids. As most know they started 7 sophomores during their 2013 loss to Central Catholic in the 6A title game. You can expect Happle and the Crusaders to be ranked one of the top two teams in the state coming into next season, with the Rams looking to 3 peat.

Jordan is an assassin on the field and incredibly humble off it. He will have multiple scholarship options before all is said and done, with one of the fastest rising D1aa teams in the country being the 1st to extend an offer. We will keep you updated as the off season gets underway.
